Connecting the positive terminal to the negative terminal of another LED is called a series. LEDs connected in series only require one resistor.
Operating LEDS in parallel requires a little more work and involves connecting each LED to a common positive and negative wire.
An Active buzzer emits a continuous audible tone. It resembles a long beep sound and is perfect for alarms or audible warnings.
The Open switch is displayed when the circuit has no power due to a broken or "open" connection.
A Closed switch or "complete" circuit is displayed when the circuit completes a loop. Closed switches supply power to the circuit.
A power supply has a battery and wiring harness to connect it to a circuit. A battery holder is a type of power supply once you add the battery.
The Potentiometer is a variable device used to regulate the amount of light, sound or wave energy. A volume knob is an example.
The Capacitor is as common as the resistor. Capacitors make circuits more efficient by storing reusable energy or power to reduce power usage.
